Gamekeeper John was kind enough to give me some flatband strips and leather to use on Bill hay's striker s/shot unfortunately I cannot get it to work for me I have posted a video giving as much information as I possibly can.

Are those bands tapered? I can't tell from the video. If they are I would try cutting from the pouch end rather than the fork end. Makes it more of a pain to shorten them but they work better. When I used flats (I'm all fixed tubes again now) I would cut them 8.5" long for my former 34" draw and that worked fine.
