Hmmm turning 50 in july I cant say im happy about that I dont celebrate birthdays and have not done so for quite some time.Hair loss bits sagging wrinkles aches and pains. Im in training to be a grumpy old man and when I retire Im going to get my own back on our local council who have let us down over the years,I think a trip to their offices every day complaining about litter dog mess teenagers and anything else I can think of should keep me going for a while.Not that im bitter but you have got to have goals or what is there to live for

Help needed how to soften leather

I have bought a 2.5kg bag of mixed leather off cuts, thickness varies between 2.5mm to 3.5mm some is very stiff how can I make it subtle and soft. If you could help I would appreciate it.

It was close produced some smoke but not quite I will try again tomorrow if it warms up it's -8 tonight. I would like to get that mdf sheet cut into managable sizes and add a plywood handle to the slingshot Bill has sent me it works as it is but I have seen many on here add handles to narrow slingshots and this is perfect for me to try my hand at this. Oh here is the video sorry for rambling it's my age it comes to us all.

I received a huge surprise from Bill this morning I knew he was going to send some of those strike it anywhere matches to me ,but I also received many extra's as you will see in the video, but I don't know why unless it has connections to the slingshot can shooting league, Don't get me wrong I am very surprised and very grateful thanks again Bill. Oh one more thing a programme that Bill has mentioned before is showing on sky documentaries here in the UK tonight on the military channel, it is called Top shot showing at 9pm so I will be taking a look at that.
