To answer question:
On these I have installed 1/16 thick, gum rubber. The first has 5/8 wide, and the other two have 1/2 in. wide.
The OTT fork is box elder from my tree, and the other two I am not sure.

The hammermil model is a formidable hunting slingshot.
A 7 inch frame having 2 1/4 inches between the forks. With the 5/8 dbl. theraband...it will average 200fps, being tied at 7 1/2 inches from fork tips to pouch.
That is with a 29 inch draw length, and shooting a 3/8 (.357) lead ball.
Being of viking descent.....I guess I named it properly
