I have noticed the same thing.  It may be that the .50 ammo is less effected by my slowly improving release technique.  .50 is all I use now except when plinking in the woods without a backstop.  When doing that I use 3/8 because of the cheaper cost.

Have a birthday coming up and 1000 pcs of steel half inch should be in my ammo can soon along with about 12 Sureshot pouches. :)

I do enjoy the force that .50 imparts as well.

What ever you do....don't shoot fly fisherman in the backside at quarter draw.  They really have no sense of humor. :angrymod:

Very cool.  There are a couple of companies that you just send your specs to and they will print your design out for you.  They use the latest printers and materials.

Can be VERY inexpensive and about 10 days turn around.  Sorry, I do not remember the names of the companies but I'm sure a quick search will bring it up.

A lot cheaper than having to upgrade your machine and materials every year or so.

I understand that there is a 3D machine on the International Space Station that they use to make small replacement parts.  Easier than going to the parts store when you are in orbit. lol
