SPS #XVI

30 January 2012 - 06:51 PM

Finished with Canvas Micarta, XVI has a tactical, unfinished edge. It is pinned with 3/16" countersunk stainless tubing. This is another original frame, from the flagship, metal-core slingshot producer.

Available for $124.99 plus shipping.

I can produce a fine sanded edge on this frame for an additional $25.00.

SPS #'s 14 & 15

16 January 2012 - 08:54 AM

SPS #14 was the first opportunity to work with the Osage that Jay gave me last year. The board he gave me has alot of chequeing (SP?), but nonetheless, beautiful. The wood for one face had some cheques prior to laminating, but I still proceeded to use it. The cheques are stabilized, and I feel they added some character. This frame is available for 149.99 + shipping, and will be equipped with a looped tube bandset.

SPS #15 features Indigenous Black Locust that was cut last year when we are cutting down dead trees along right-a-ways. I brought home alot of this wood for buring in my wood stove. I decided to cut some planks from a large stump, and planed them down. This frame is available for $149.99 + shipping, and will be equipped with a looped tube bandset.

Happy New Year

01 January 2012 - 09:52 AM

I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone at Slingshotforum and Happy New Year.

I also want to thank those who have supported Performance Catapults since the inception. I can't promise that you'll see anything new from my lineup in 2012. I'm confident that the current lineup is superior to anything available at this time. I'm not here to generate sales. What is important to me, is that the customer has a quality, performing slingshot, that will withstand the elements of time.

Though I am passionate about slingshots, the time I have to devote to the sport seems to dwindle more each day. My daughter will be 8 years old this year, and I need to fuel whatever fire she decides to build to prepare her for life.

I look forward to what the future has in store for our great sport. I hope to see some new faces at the ECST this coming year.

Take care, and God Bless.
