True Blood Little Foot

19 March 2017 - 02:55 PM

Hi there everybody
Just finished a sligthly modified Little Foot (design by Matthew Neyman/YSYEO - credit to whom credit is due) made from a black phenolic paper core (15mm) and Kirinite True Blood scales (3mm), sanded to 1k grit and polished. I hope it appeals to the community and cheers you to try YSYEO's phenomenal design too - it's just fun shooting - actually my favorite at the time for everyday shooting. Hope you enjoy it.

Enough pouches for a lifetime

08 March 2017 - 04:37 AM

I've found a black kangaroo leather (half sqm, 1mm thickness) for 20 bucks and ordered a custom made steel rule punch die from China (see www.sunrisedies.com) for another 40 bucks. Now, I'll be prepared to cut pouches for the next 50 years or so :)

Perfect material to make a SS for your girlfriend

THIS IS NOT A COMERCIAL (!)  I just liked the material and decided to share .....

Did you know JUMA? It "... is a high grade, modern raw material for the manufacture of components and works of art. JUMA consists of a mixture of different mineral base materials compounded with a resin component" (manufacturer's words).

However, this seems to be (at least for me) the perfect handle material to make a SS for your girlfriend or wife. At least my wife got glossy eyes immediately when she saw it. I think it's probably similar to Kirinite. I ordered one sheet but didn't get it yet (and therefore haven't worked the material so far; no personal experience).

For SS freaks in Europe: the manufaturer (and dealer) is https://www.elforyn....gon/pink-dragon

For those of you in overseas there is one dealer in Canada who has it: http://www.cuestik.com

PS: I don't have any personal interest to make promotion, nor do I have any commercial or familiar links to the manufacturer :-)

True Blood Can'able little sister

06 February 2017 - 07:55 AM

Just finished a little sister with the remaining Kirinite (3mm handle only on one side of 15mm black phenolic paper). Banded up with tubes just for blinking - or so.
