Here is another mystery wood as I have mentioned elsewhere that I collect mainly dead tree forks and make them into SSs. Therefore, identification for me is a challenge. So this one is called "Sweet Wood".
This one is;
G-10 day glow orange core
Very Thick CA glue finish. Admittedly if you really look at it you can see some undulations in the finish because of the
thickness. A plus for wear and tear on a finish, doesn't detract from the overall look because you have to examine to notice. I mention this for the overly picky people. That is not a criticism just to help seller/buyer expectaions.
I wanted to fill the voids on this wood to create something that you can see through to the core as seen on the back side of the SS. There is a corner that will be receiving Epoxy to give the make the fork corner normal.
