I've been a slingshooter for about 3 years now. I've always gone out to beautiful places to shoot as a kind of zen exercise, and it's been hugely centering and rewarding.
Equally rewarding is checking in with the community of hunters , craftspeople and target shooters that makes up our unique sport.
I started out shooting plastic fantastics (Love Bill Hayes stuff, and Trumark Off-The-Shelf stuff), now moving into shooting naturals and a making my own frames - very daunting given the quality of work guys are making around the world, but I try to remember I'm making slings for my own enjoyment and for the satisfaction of taking game with something I made myself.
When I'm not shooting I work in the factory that makes the best dark chocolate in the world.
