I have 3 Scouts all banded the same way, same length and fired the same way, bands all had about the same use.yet when firing the green one it always shoots about 10 inches to the left and i have to correct my aiming to shoot straight, well today i got pissed of and put new bands on even though the other ones were perfectly good, surprise surprise, now shooting dead on. Out of 24 shots only 6 out of bullseye at 30 ft, no idea why the difference, perhaps the other bands were jinxt..    Cheers Tassie

Green's don't shoot as well.  Either that, of they were not in fact banded and shot the same way.

I'm going with the latter.

I'd go with BR on that - can't have been identical. Proof's in the pudding.

It was the bands . No jinx .  Unbalanced pull .

It can be weird.

I have seen big improvements just from removing and retying the same bandset, in what I thought was exactly the same way.

Small differences can make a big difference. It's like having a reliable shooter give you a string of misses, and then finding a tear in the rubber.

I'll bet one band was a little thinner than the other. Have had the same issue with looped tubes and when you look at the tubes the inner outer diameter is slightly different. Even though it from the same roll.

Any little change imperfection or length difference can make a difference even just little things like how you tie on your bands can change accuracy . You could also run into a imperfect batch of latex .
