In m

what do you guys use to attach the bands? Will rubber bands work? Or do I need theraband gold strips or something? thanks

In my opinion i stick with the theraband strips, its holds much better, ive used rubber bands as ties and found under the pulling of the band it did not hold, i almost got a band in the face at full draw, I wont use rubber bands anymore

gonna have to second you on this one, the thera just seems to work better.

rubber bands were slipping on me too. believe or not inner tube worked better for me than bands did for attaching. they make the slowest flatbands in the world though....

For the rubber strips to attach bands with that you all speak of, you already have them in most cases. Take your old flat worn out latex power bands and split or cut the tie strips from them. Whether pure latex or Thera-Band they will work better than rubber bands because they are stronger. -- Tex

I have been ask multiple times how big my pouch and how much does it weigh? Well I decided that instead of answering these questions many times, I would make a draft to send. By the pictures you can see how big it is in inches. The average weight is .o6666 ounces or 29.13 grains. -- Tex

Hey Tex Shooter;
Got my tubing in yesterday. Played with it some today and found it works great if I cut to 24" length and then run it through patch with no tie. This gives me a 12" double band on each side. I attach fork by marking loose ends at 1 1/2" and pulling through hole in forks using soft nylon string. I then drop a hardwood dowel through end loops, pull out string and pull rubber until taut on dowel in the Mexican method. This means I do not tie anything anywhere, no knots!!!
Double bands cut 24" originally leave big dents in an old Weber BBQ. Most important it is the easiest way I have ever seen to teach a kid to attach tubing.
Tubing is a pull weight I enjoy, material seems first class, it is easy to work with and your service is first class. I am looking forward to giving away a lot more slingshots.

Bill,

Can I shoot tubes on my WristRocket Pro?

I might try them after the tournament is over if they'll work.

The Latex that I purchase from Hygenic has always had on the labels “Made in Malaysia”, but the last order of four coils of .030 flat stock has “Made in the USA” on the labels. The tubing still has the “Made in Malaysia” on the labels. Since I assume that Hygenic knows where its products are made, I think that this is a change that they have made and thought I would up-date my customers. I know that the USA labor rate is getting more competitive as we don’t have a monopoly on most manufactured products as we once did, so I know that some Manufactures have come back to the states to manufacture some of there products. Something else has changed for what I buy from Hygenic and that is the cost of the shipping for products from Malaysia has more than doubled. I am still trying to hold the price line for my customers. I am also looking at a new latex product and will be testing it in the near future. -- Tex

$12 is my Minimum order! My products are shipped free! I sell to USA addresses only! Also note that on some products I have a maximum order! I do this because I am striving to serve the slingshot shooters mainly. I do sell die cut flat pouches to venders @ quantity prices. -- Tex

Thank you Tex for the two Hawks and other supplies, for your ammo recommendation, and for your instructive YouTube videos. Even I was able to assemble and test them in no time.

Next - I have to learn to hit the broad side of a barn!
