-The Traveler-

Objective was to create something comfortably pocketable, light, durable, easy setup and breakdown while on the road away from the shop.

Material is from an old street skate deck. The hole in the handle is pre existing from 1 of 4 trucks attachment points (the impression can be seen in the first pic.). 1842 tubes attached with #32 bands.

Due to the slight camber of the body The Traveler fits comfortably especially in front t-shirt pocket. Easily fits into either front or back pant pockets and of course packs without notice in any day bag or luggage.

Nice custom SS right there bud. I think I'll keep my eyes open for a used skateboard to give that idea a go too. Thanks for the inspiration. :) lb

The camber of the body gives it a very nice settled feel in your hand.

Nice!!

You'll be surprised how many shooters you can knock out from just one deck.

Yes, small box I picked up at a local Christmas market this past season.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. Although I can't take credit for being the FIRST to use a skateboard for a slingshot. There are a few others out there. I have built several shooters from skate decks in the past, even laminated a few for a thicker body and have not once been disappointed with the material.
