I knew this was not going to be easy, but I had no idea just tough it would be. I put a piece of orange flourecent tape so I could at least have something I could see to aim out. The tough part is the string does not always break, which makes it that much more challenging. It may take me a long time to complete this challenge, but as long as I'm having fun I refuse to give up???????????????????? there is a one minute time limit to get a minimum is two broken strings. Right now I'm using a calendar for my time???????????????????????????????????????? this may end up being a long post????????????
Be sure to use CHEAP COTTON thread. Try picking up one of those cheap sewing kits at a dollar store ... they usually have really flimsy thread. Do not use nylon, polyester, or any other man made fiber. And just keep at it ...
Thanks Charles, I will give that a try. I think trying for these badges is helping focus better on the targets. I hope by telling my experiences maybe it will encourage others to try.
Tom, cheap cotton is a must, but also use some rusty ammo if you have it. Shiny, new ammo has to hit perfect to break the string as it can just slide off. Put some ammo in vinegar for about 10 minutes and it will etch the ammo and help out alot.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
