At the moment I have two go to setups. One is a Abu Garcia black max with 20lb braided line on a 7ft medium heavy berkly cherry wood. The other is a Abu Garcia pro max with 20lb braided line on a 7ft heavy basspro carbon lite rod. I mainly use a weightless senko texas rig or a booyah pad crasher hollow body frog.

What is you favorite setup?

A 5' 6" ugly stick and Mitchell spinning reel with10lb mono. I do well with a green beetle spin or a small top water. I enjoy the fight not just hausing them in.

6 foot Bass Pro Shop Power Hump Graphite stick-medium heavy action coupled with my standard reel-an Ambassedor 5500 C3 and Trilene XL line with anywhere from 8 lb.test to 14 lb.test. Early spring I'm chucking a 1/4 ounce black ducktail jig with a short paddle tail trailer (black or brown). After spring it could be anything from a crank bait to an in line spinner and different rubber too.
