Sunday with nothing to do so why not make up a slingbow. I drilled a center hole in the fork of the tourque for the brass pin and twisted up a heavy line for my arrow rest. I think Perry was the first one I saw do this simple and works great if you are shooting feathers. I had two sets of 2050 tapers and one of the arrow holders I made up some time ago. I have some 197 grain carbon  arrows I have been wanting to shoot.

This is about all I want to shoot with out a wrist brace. It shoots very good and I get great arrow flight. I set up the crono and I am getting 153 fps to 159 fps with these light arrows. Great way to spend a sunday afternoon.

Morning

What does the brass pin do?

( I have little experience in slingbows, so excuse my ignorance)

The brass pin holds the arrow on center where the string holds it even with the tubes.

Tapping the hole doesnt weaken the yoke? I'm not too thrilled about weakening that part and getting a nice chunk to the cheek..
