Don't you just love going to the mailbox and finding a package? For Slingshooters especially, a package means something slingshot related! Well,I got that feeling today and upon opening the package ,I found this! This is a genuine "Rhododendren" frame crafted by Mr. Rhodo himself WT Bill. Take a look at the grain on this one! It's carved in a Pistol/Hammer grip fashion with full finger grooves, a nice thick handle, and made for a big hand-like mine! Thank you Mr. Bill. Wonderful work and a great surprise! Flatband

The pictures don't do this one justice. Bill is a neighbor and I get to see all of his amazing work first hand. This particular slingshot probably fits Gary's meaty paw perfect, and the mass of this slingshot is awesome. Feels great in the hand and the finish is a mile deep.

Hey Harp, you may want to check out the woods around you for some of this stuff. I remember fishing in a pond in Jersey years back that you had to hike to. I remember big Rhodo bushes on the trail leading to the pond. I may have to re-visit that spot. This stuff has some wild grain patterns! I never even knew it was strong enough to fork from! Flatband

Nice, Gary! I wish I still had the address of that spoon maker down in Rhode Island who lived on the edger of a Rhododendron forest and used it to make all his spoons. That is some pretty stuff alright.
