last night i received a package that customs had really torn into, after they inspected the contents they not so neatly placed everything back into 2 plastic bags.

i was very anxious to see what Ethan had sent me, and believe me i was far from disappointed. he sent not 1 but 3 of his naturals w/ extra band set and extra latex and green tubing.
as i pulled the 3 out of the bags i noticed how very well they were finished, i have to say he did such a good job they dont feel like wood, more like ceramic done in a kiln glass like appearance.

all three are beautiful, fit and finish is just beautiful, below is my favorite the wood the ergonomics, just everything about this one it even has a natural flat for thumb placement!

this little gem is perfectly blonde, and if i did not know better i could guess this and the above sling came from similar molds, you place one on top of the other = perfect alignment! both are cut at a perfect angle to fit the hand perfectly for easy/comfortable shooting

the final natural is a hammer type, with very nice laminations on the tips and heel of the sling, also the heel is pinned. all 3 of the naturals have Ethans makers mark in one way or another. i was so pleasantly surprised!

THANK YOU ETHAN, your work is beautiful, and i am a grateful recipient of these 3 naturals.

i banded one of the slings i got from Ethan, and compared it with other slings in its size range including Chepo's (mine) Pirinola. green dub dub vs brown dub dub (i think) vs hygenic latex................ the hygenic is faster the brown the slowest, but the green is interesting, it is slower than the hygenic but it feels much more powerful it has a hefty pull, seems to have power to spare, same with the brown, but the brown dub dub seems to be a bit weaker with almost the same hefty pull, i know this isnt very scientific, but without the proper measuring instruments all i can do is give my impressions for the size slings i am using it on the green is great, nice work out too. i think i will get some cans out and try some penetration tests.
