Sorry if any one has seen this in regional thread, but thought is post pics here too...
My most common design, but the Blackwood block I used had a lot of character; pink, blonde, brown even green tones through it, so I figured id compliment its unique tonings with an ebony & purpleheart swell... as usual fits like a glove, and shoots even better... cheers all..

I only normally sand to 400gr, but then give it a.felt buff with the dremmel wheel, I then applied 3 coats of satin polyeurathene....

Ahhh ... Now I know why you are getting those high velocities!!! It's because you sand to 400 grit and then on top of that you polish it .... very slick indeed ... :rofl:
