Awhile back an older guy from Maryland came in the shop and bought some supplies and saw some of my slingshots told me he had some wood and to come get it , so he came in this morning and brought me some oak and black walnut , so he got another ss for his grand kids . He told me to come over any time he has 200 acres and am welcome to any wood there.MM

This is what he built his kitchen out of 30 years ago , you won't find a much nicer man anywhere. He burnt a bunch of this just before he came in the last time , all 2 inch thick . MM

Wow! That's how I got all my Koa- my cousin was doing a trail clearing project for eagle scouts removing deadfall Koa logs across the trails. Hard work, but ten years later and I've got a bunch of super curly Koa from really old trees for free! Nice wood, man!

you are so lucky ! if i had a stash like that, id be drooling over the possible slingshots id be making. id would even consider trading a board or two on here for a pouch, bands, or other . good score !
