Couple weeks ago I got one of those Recurve Hunters from Roger (Wingshooter). He banded it with some of Tex's straight-cut latex.

Last night's dinner included spinach-in-a-can ... well we did dump it in a saucepan and heat it up before consuming. Anyway, I saved the steel can as a target.

Well, today I was shootin' inside. Killed couple alum cans and then decided to hang that STEEL can.

Did I mention those latex bands really zing 3/8" steel balls?

Did I mention that my indoor practice room has a mirror hanging on the wall and located somewhat opposite from my targets?

First shot hit the can, but not solidly. Ball ricochets and I hear a funny "crack" sound. Really didn't want to walk down the hallway, through doorway, and look on wall to left where mirror was hanging. Yep, there's small divot taken outta that mirror! No cracking, but definitely a divot.

So, if you're thinking of shooting at a steel can inside ...... may want to reconsider!

Wonder how long it'll be 'til The Wife notices?

I put a pinhole in our bay window...she hasn't noticed. Yet. I've begun work on a bomb shelter for when she sees it, lol.

Get the packing mate... Its all over when she finds out...

Everything you have ever done correct will be wiped and replaced with this.... Your mistake... you will be held accountable for life. and in 2 years time when your arguing bout a totally separate topic, this incident will rear its ugly head. and you will look for a shovel or other blunt instrument....but none will be available... and you will be thankful....

Women....

I made a full face print of my ex girl friend ... it is quite impressive ... hanging on my studio wall, nicely matted and framed. I was shooting in the studio because it had more room. Had a richochet with a 3/8 steel ball off of a steel spoon, and smack into the glass over the print. But she is my ex, so it seemed sort of appropriate. Think I will just leave it as an artistic statement. But I do not shoot steel in the house any more ...

Cheers ...... Charles

It fit's the bike's overall look, not too worried about it.
Just glad it didn't hit the windshield!
