A slingshot is where you find it and I found this one cutbside. Well it was not a slingshot when I found it, but a broken crutch. I cut it down reversed the handle and arm clip and drilled the aporopriate holes. Then I made a simple tip insert with 1/4 stainless rod, a dowel plug and epoxy putty. The whole job took about 45 minutes not including the drying time. I might add over the top pins later. Its a shooter and can you imagine shooting it butterfly style. I need Torsten fot that! -- Tex

Awesome! I might have one of those brace cane/crutches laying around somewhere. Very creative use of found materials.

Way to keep new creations coming in Bill. I like too that it has adjustable length feature built in.

When making the tips for a Crutchstar, I don't advise Stainless as it is very hard to bend, even when heated. I just have a few pieces I need to use. A better choice would be 1018 cold roll rod. When heated cherry red it bends very easy. -- Tex
