I was thinking of buying a Com Bow kit like this :

Attached File  Com_Bow_165_800x600.jpg   73.86K   1 downloads

But after joining this forum I started thinking " I bet I could build a better one "

So my question is : Can anyone direct me to a link, photos, plans, advice or anything else that may help me to design an even better one than the one that is in the photo ?

Thanks much.

I bought one. It is a very good piece of kit. The design is simple, but quite innovative. With quite a bit of work, you might be able to build something similar, depending on your skills. But unless your time is worth nothing to you, buying the whole outfit is a better way to go.

Cheers ....... Charles

I have one of these they are great although I have not used it in awhile because I need to order more bands just lazy I guess they are a great design. But it is all aluminum so it is very exact so do you have a machine shop ? But good luck . I want to get my up and running again.
