I had a request for a plywood Recurve Hunter so I made one for myself to see if how it would turn out. This one is made from 3/4 birch. I had to glue three layers together to get the size I needed. I think it will be allright I am going to make one out of oak ply and see what that looks like. This one has one coat of linseed oil the wood seemed very dry. I have been shooting it this afternoon and it shoots fine.

With all the shaping inherent to your designs, use of plywood resulted in VERY unique look.
I like!

Btw, ya need to get some baby oil on that thumb callous!

The use of plywood offers you some unique design effects...Multiple laminations of thin (1/8, 1/4, and 1/2 inch) hardwoods might offer some unique design patterns...Similar to your original bent wood laminations...Using a variety of sizes in one board lamination should yield some interesting effects...Good work...
