Okay, so my brother wants me to make him a 'Gripper' model from the shared designs section. The problem is, he wants hi forks pointed, (ala Devil Horns.) I thought it could be a cool design, but before I cut it out, I was wondering how you guys would attach band to such a piece. I was thinking maybe Gypsy tabs canted at a roughly 60 degree angle inward as to clear the fork, What do you think? Any suggestions would be great, and as it's a custom, if i finish it, of course I will post pics.

What you suggest seems to make sense, but I can't clearly tell with just words. It would be great if you could post a picture of a drawing of what you suggest, and I could tell for sure. I personally just tie on gypsy tabs with a strip of rubber in the same way that I'd tie on flat bands.

I'm working in it now, i'll post soon hopefully, if the tabs don't work the way I'm hoping, I can always lop off the horns and band it normally.
