I couldn't pass this up when I saw it in the woods where I use to swing on vines around 45 years ago.
We called them grape vines but they did not bear any fruit but me and my buddies. We would swing over a hill drop down in the leaves several feet below. It seemed like 20' but I am sure it was less but it was enough to get hurt if we did not roll when we landed.
So I am still playing with them after all of these years.

I'm jealous......simply jealous. Makes me wish I still had my old job. We cleared vines like that by the ton. Good times....is that wisteria by chance? Those vines grow thick as small trees!

after all these years you now know why you kept getting that extremely itchy rash. You were swinging on poison ivy vines.

just kidding. we did the same in the woods where I grew up. Hey! maybe that is where I got the rashes from.

Thanks fellow shooters. While it was raining yesterday afternoon I had to get my shooting fix with BB's while standing in our garage. With this vine frame I could get regular hits at 45' and 66'. It just took a little while to "zero" it in but when I figured it out it was as consistent as any other solid frame.

Shoot'em straight,
David

Super looking catty, you were wise to check out the vine potential.

Yeah don't overlook brush and smaller bush for potential slingshot material guys, it can yield
amazing stuff. I don't want to highjack the thread but I've harvested a lot of
good things from not tree's but brush, I'll post somewhere else at a later date.
