I reworked these two slingshots to convert them to the Recurve Hunter shape. I like them better.
On a side note I am reworking my web page so it looks better and is easier to navigate. It got to the point I couldn't even figure where I was. I have a page each for the oak and maple and I also have a page for the one of a kind's They have the recurve hunter shape but different materials and colors. I am also going to do some dymalux. They have a camo that I really like.

Saw your revamped site Roger, and it looks great!
Nice and easy to navigate, and to select what one wants.
I was browsing it lat night, because I plan on picking up another one of your Slingshots soon.

Thank you Sir, you might have noticed I started putting the band grooves on the forks again and I also put in the pinky depression. I think it helps in shooting the bands to come back to the same place each time you draw I know it helps on the tubes it forces them to stay close together.

You mean the band grooves for over the top set ups, correct?
Yes, I noticed the thumb groove as well.
I see you are selling bands as well. that's great - I really like the band that came on my Recurve Hunter.

The band grooves I am talking about are on the outside of the fork. There is also a depresion for your little finger to index the slingshot into the same place each time you start to shoot. The band information on the site is a link to Tex-Shooter he is the main man when it comes to latex.

Saturday was good day. Mailman dropped off package ... oak Recurve Hunter!

Finally got opportunity to shoot it yesterday (Monday). Cold outside, but nice in my little 27' indoor range.

40 shots and just beginning to figure out a repeatable grip. Reallllly liking the handle design. So comfortable for the wrist.

This frame arrived with set of Tex's latex bands and one of Rayshot's pouches. Bands are 7/8" wide and straight cut. Works perfect! Bands zip 3/8" steel ammo down range.

I hung an aluminum soda can. 1st shot missed completely. 2nd shot just caught edge of can. 3rd shot was dead center and did amazing damage! Ball somehow CUT through front side of can ... not a discernible hole but, instead, literally cut a straight line across front of can as if a knife had sliced across it. Then ball zipped through backside of can and into my bedsheet backstop with a "thud". Never saw a can perforated in such a way before!

I'm soooo happy with this slingshot. Got way to go to achieve consistency. But I'm having fun and it's sooooo comfortable to shoot!

Congratulations on your new Recurve Hunter, Knoll!
Beautifull and comfortable things aren't they?
I was just shooting mine down the basement last night.
Had an off night though, very inconsistent.

Oh, those grooves!
Somehow I missed them when I viewed the images... Great idea though.
