I have been around "Bean Flippers" my entire life and up until recently, I had no idea that they had gotten so popular. i bought a new Barnett a couple weeks ago and was completley disappointed. It really was quite junky. I sent it back and dug into my antler box and came up with these (HOSS and LITTLE JOE). The antlers are Texas whitetail that I harvested two years ago with my 330fps recurve crossbow.

i have spent the better part of two days searching this forum. I have arrived at the conclusion that I need to find a suppier for band material.I used all the blue theraband that I had to make the triple band for Hoss. The Blue shoots very fast and accurate but not too durable.

Is there a member that will sell/trade for some band material?

I went to three stores to find a couple of miniature table vises to make a "Band Jig". I could not find any so I returned home and dug around and found the comination of clamps that work very well.

Deer Antler slingshots? Now that, my friend, is cool. Seriously, that's hawt.

We have some vendors that sell bands. Tex-shooter makes some pretty mean Latex band sets. Check'm out in the Vendor's Corner.

Thanks for the warm welcome and compliments. My avitar is and Old Friend of mine whom is no longer with me. I never thought that I would be on a Slingshot forum. I have been on a Jeep,Traditional Bow, Various Firearms,Aprilla Scooter,Izusu and Gem Stone jewlery making forums. I have

I made my first slingshot, with my Dad's help when I was around six.It was only a few years after that He introduced me to his 1956 (2) pc. Ben Pearson Long Bow.My Redrider was also by my side. I had no idea that "Bean Flippers" had become so popular. About a month ago I started thinking about getting back into Slingshots and Blowguns. When it comes down to "Gun Control", the way for THEM to control guns is to control the ammo. With Slingshots,Blowguns,Bows and Crossbows, I can make my own ammo.

I am a fanatic about becoming both effiecient and proficient.I always want to be as accurate as I can be when I take a kill shot at an animal. I have always wanted a "Wrist Rocket" but never broke down and bought one. Two weeks ago I ordered a Barnett Pro Diablo II. Whenit arrived I was real disappointed. The name sounds cool and it looks real cool, but cool it aint. Nothing fit and tightened. i packed it up and returned. I had already bought some powerline ammo so I dug in my antler box. I made the LITTLE JOE first. The powerline tubes work well on the carved antler ends, and shoot quite well.It is a little hard on your hand after a long shooting session. Day before yesterday I started on HOSS. It took a lot of fitting and sanding to fit and shoot well sooting sideways. It shoots quite well using tubes or bands.

I am looking forward to being a member of this forum.

I say to all, "Welcome in to My Home"
