Hello friend, I have been practicing with rocks and marbles with one of my homemade dugi slingshots made from Bamboo! I believe that's my favorite slingshot now, thanks for giving me the advise!

No problem! Glad I could help!

So rocks are working for you then?!

How small does a catapult have to be to qualify as a Pickle Fork Shooter? I've been trying out a little catty made from 12mm polyethylene cutting board. It's 110mm high and 70mm wide, weighs 34g without bands and is set up Dankung fashion. I'll get some photos up when I've read the instruction manual on my new camera.

I'm a bit short of pebbles here (which is a shame, cos they're my favourite ammunition) so have been using a mixture of standard ironmongery.

Here he is (if I've pressed the right buttons etc) - the Green Weenie. Pretty much a perfect fit for my hand in the Dankung gangsta style grip.

Cheers! One of those boards set me back 7 sponds (local money) and is good for about 8-10 catties. Having seen the above pic I'm inclined to agree, not a pfs. In fact, I wouldn't really want a longer handle.

The one on the left is pretty but I don't think it's a pfs! Pretty green weenie also! ;)

I love my pfs, I have some very beautiful one's made by Martin coleman, and some hunting one's made from oak, by my friend Paul at FGC, amongst others. I am as accurate with these held upright as I am with dedicated side shooters. For target shooting I use marbles or 9.5mm lead at longer ranges, and hunt lead ammo up tp 12.7mm from them. Learning to 'twist the pouch' was what started my love affair with these little gems, they'd have been in the bin if it wasn't for Dgui (patron saint of slingshots) and his videos. Big THANK YOU, to Darryl, you saved my hand!
