Have spent some weeks watching posts in this Forum. Great informatioon and a superb resource for anyone interested in the sport. I have to admit I don't make my own equipment (but nothing is written in stone) and now have a leaning towards metal slingshots. I have been shooting for about 50 years, so ss Dankung's weren't around then. A forked stick natural was the only option...or a Milbro which was way way out of my financial reach.

I like the strength and feel of cold steel. Had to rely on metal for much of my life (22 years) in HM Forces and was first introduced to the modern-day SS slingshot Asia. I do still llike the 'naturals' but tbh I don't have the skill nor necessary dexterity (arthritic wrists and fingers) to accomplish what would satisfy me.
