Happy new year everybody!
I have been working on this Hammermil hunter slingshot for the last couple of days.
I made it of black ash, and incorporated a spalted maple palm swell.
The bands are double gold theraband @ 5/8 wide and .040 thick.
The frame is sealed with minwax polyurethane.
Very comfortable to hold and shoot, and it is fast.
Hope you like Hammermil #47
Tom

:headbang: Awesome -- This is a fierce Viking weapon. Not one for your G.F. Ha!

Beautiful, Tom.

Dayhiker is correct
The hammermil model is a formidable hunting slingshot.
A 7 inch frame having 2 1/4 inches between the forks. With the 5/8 dbl. theraband...it will average 200fps, being tied at 7 1/2 inches from fork tips to pouch.
That is with a 29 inch draw length, and shooting a 3/8 (.357) lead ball.
Being of viking descent.....I guess I named it properly :)
