Hey there. I have had my slingshot ever since i was 12. i Actually still have it.. its made from guava tree. and my dad used the inner tube from a bike tire and an old piece of leather from a shoe.

what i want to know is if there are plans on here somewhere that tell me how to recreate the Two Shots: Side by Side Sling-X-Bow. I wanted to know how or what you made the firing mechanism... I really think this is a great alternative for older kids to learn responsibility.

Hey Buddy and welcome to the forum.

You would be best checking Joergs forum for that. Links can be found on his Youtube Channel.

From memory though, he has not posted plans, though I may be mistaken.

remembering from his demo on the sling-xbow it was a 90* L metal bracket on a pivot that had the band placed behind it. the trigger device pulled down and removed the dowel that was under the bottom of the L bracket. The tension would would drive the band forward, pushing the L bracket out of the way.

Hello I've had and traveled with my wrist rocket for years now,I ride a old B.M.W. and do a lot of wandering on back roads and out of the way places all over North America.Years ago I felt that I needed to have a small hunting tool that I could carry on the bike so I could feed myself when the closes restaurant was 250 miles away and it was breakfast time LOL it also rounded out the rest of my travel kit.About 18months ago I came across Joergs youtube site along with Dave Canterberrys site(hope I have the spelling right) the things that I've learned about slingshots over the last year and a half from these guys plus all the others that I've seen ( Gamemasters Flipping out Bunnybusted etc) has just amazed me and to be honest have got me thinking about building my own with flat bands and retiring the wrist rocket.I'm here to lean more and to share.

Welcome! Use a constrictor knot and for tying the bands on at the forks use strips of rubber, as for the pouch end I use thin garden twine. You can find slingshot templates in the Shared Designs section of the forum. All the best :)

Check out the shared design section on the forum here.

For tying, type 'constrictor knot' into the search box.

Check out FlatBand on YouTube or our just search on YouTube 'slingshot attachments'.
