Hey everybody, just joined the forum and wanted to say hello. I'm located in the Piedmont foothills area of NC about as far north as you can get and still be in NC. I enjoy hunting, fishing, shooting( both firearms and airguns), making knives and living on the farm.
I use to shoot slingshots a lot when I was a kid making them from Dogwood forks and rubber banding my best friend's dad got for us from somewhere. Now 35 to 40 years later I am excited to revisit my slingshot days, although I didn't make the slingshot I'm waiting to recieve from Mr. Bill Hays!
I'm 52 years young, married to the same beautiful woman for 25 years with one son still at home age 13 and one son graduated from college and on his own, but he still makes it home three or four nights a week for supper.
I've been in law enforcement for the past 23 years and need all my hobbies to relax and relieve the stress. Plan on retiring just as soon as my youngest is out of college.
Well hope that's not to much information for a newbie, I know I'm going to enjoy hunting again with a slingshot after plenty of much need practice.
