For me, when the pouches are brand new 1/2" is a little iffy but once broken in (even as few as 20 shots or so) it works fine. I still shoot 1/2" quite a bit and use these pouches exclusively.

Got mine last week and built a SS to accommodate them. Finished the SS today and was very impressed with the tubes. Having never shot them before I was not sure what to expect and I am happy with the results. I am using the Comps right now, I cannot imagine what the pull of the GT's are. Glad my other sets are the lighter ones for now!

I have shot 1/2" with them, but make sure you have a good release technique. 3/8" and 7/16" are the most comfortable size ammo to shoot however.

So Jim, what type fork attachment have you tried with these, and which do you prefer? Any comments on tabs, vs open loops (Dankung style) vs anchored (MJ type) vs more snug fitting holes (universal fork type)

I have tried MJ's technique on an EPS that a customer purchased a few months ago, and they requested looped tubes attached using this style. It shot just fine. I prefer looped, tied at the pouch, with the SPS style attachment. The reason I prefer this attachment is a direct result of the time invested in shooting the SPS. Good feedback is on the increase however, with the use of looped tubes on diverse frames.

Stratagem Pocket Slingshot (SPS)
Stratagem - (străt'ə-jəm/-jem) A clever or tricky device, used to gain an advantage over adversary.
The SPS is the most diversified, custom, high performance slingshot made. It can utilize looped tubes, RRT tapered tubes, as well as tapered flats. It sports a low profile, and a unique shape for ultra comfort.
