Hello and Merry Christmas to you all.
I have been checking this forum out as a visiter for quite some time now. I could not hold out any longer. I've been shooting slingshots now for 52 years. I'll be 57 this month on Christmas eve 12/24. There was a time when I could knock the little hairs off of the head of a gnat at 20 yards (lol), But these days the eyes are going. Its getting harder and harder to even see that darn gnat when its right in my face let a lone at 20 yards. Hopefully I'll be getting some eye glasses soon!
I've been practicing a lot, so look out you youngsters. Years ago I used to build natural slingshots for myself and close freinds. Wish I still had them. I do still have my first Tru-Mark Wristrocket from a long, long time ago. I also still have and shoot my Saunders Falcon which I think I started shooting at 10 or 11 years old. I just realized something, everything I have is old (except my wife). Anyway I'm still shooting and showing off my old slingshots. Every where I go, and I mean everywhere I always have some marbles in my pocket! It drives my wife nuts. Oh well, I love slingshots and would not give it up for anything.
And since I have found all of you here I'm thinking real hard about making some of those old natural slingshots again! l
Thank you all, and again Merry Christmas.
Shoot safe.
Mike
