Top notch and bulletproof don't say enough, but I don't know any more words. Great slingshot, Jim!

Looks great!

You have to see this material in person to understand how cool the pattern on it is! Good stuff.

I have to keep telling myself what a terrible slingshot this is.

It's the only way to relieve the pain of not owning one :P

Very nice work Jim!

There you go!

Jim is the sold product going to be unfinished? The edges look, from the photo that they could be abrasive and sharp. Helps us to know whether we will be responsible to finish it.

Did you do all your test shooting with a finish coat on the routered edges?

All Sharp edges are hit with a file. The base model's edges have an unsanded, tactical finish. However, the fork tips are sanded and buffed. I got into a hurry taking this pic, and forgot to sand and buff the tips. With this material, its very difficult to distinguish a sanded edge, versus and unsanded edge.

The sanded and buffed edge is an additional $25.00

The pic I was referring to was in the initial post.

The pic in the previous post that you quoted, was taken to show the difference between the finished, and unfinished core. As you can see in that image, it's difficult to tell the finished phenolic versus the unfinished. Pretty easy to see the difference between the two cores.

Yeah, the finished look is clear in the side by side photo. I like the finished look. Very nice.

The material shines up real good with a little sanding and a superglue finish:

Hi Bruce,

All of my frames are made with a metallic core for safety, recoil stability, and cosmetic appearance.
Base price for the SPS is $125.00. See my other thread for price descriptions.

Many Thanks,
- Jim
