Hey Philly, White Plains is right across the bay from Long Island. We'll have to check timetables and maybe we can grab him when we have a shoot. I was looking forward to meeting him too. Flatband

I want to do this so bad I can taste it.... But of course we have some dogs that are starting to look like "the real Deal" and the Nationals are during that time. So I've got a choice... business or pleasure.
Since I've got a bunch of mouths to feed and always need money... looks like it's the dogs will come first.

Now, I've heard tell that there's going to be a Summer Nationals slingshot tournament this year.... hopefully that one will be doable.... I know I've got a trip to Europe I'm obligated to do this summer hopefully that's not at the same time as well.

Soooo, good luck to all who can make it!

The Summer Nats are supposed to be the last weekend in June (although I really wish we had more info on it...) and it's quite a bit closer to you so with any luck I'll see you there.

The little chicks came in yesterday.
They have to stay in this box for some weeks or untill it warms up enough for them to go out in the coop.

Because of my enthusiasm for the 2012 tournament I was one of the first to indicate that I was going to attend. However, due to a series of unexpected expenses and a broken index finger (I got my hand caught in the drill press and yes, I was making a slingshot) I will not be able to attend. I’ll be there in spirit and I’m looking forward to viewing all the stories, photos, and videos that will be posted here on the forum.

T minus 20 hours till liftoff!
No paper targets today, I've either got it at this point or I don't. Took a hundred or so shots at some ground-level cans with the SPS to break in the bands and shot my Dennis the Menace natural some.
And I packed up all my stuff on the bike. RIght now the ride is more on my mind than the tournament.
Can't wait to see all you guys!
