Hello everyone. Been looking at this place since last week, when I dug out my old slingshot from when I was a kid. Went to Walmart and bought a Daisy replacement chord/pouch, it broke after 60 or so shots, went back and bought two more to tide me over until the new Trumark FSX-XO get's here. Been practicing in the back yard with lead .36 roundballs that I cast. My effective range right now is about 25 feet. Looking forward to learning all I can about these handy little survival implements.

Welcome. I had a similar experience with the Daisy bands from Walmart. I drastically increased their life by reducing my draw length. The bands seem a bit short for an adult. Anyway, I am averaging around 500 shots with them now.
