Hello gang,
After being a proud member of the forum as both a learner and a contributor, I have decided to begin selling commercially. Supplying frames, band sets, display stands and on request, custom frames.
I have a local account with a gun shop near my home that im now selling through, Also through my friends on FaceBook, I will be casually selling on the Internet and if there are no objections dealing as a vendor on this forum.
Since I have a bad disk in my neck, I cant shoot but if I work slowly I can build. I needed a few extra dollars for med bills recently and sold some frames to friends. Word got out and I was commissioned to build a custom size for another friend. Why use a business name? Since I'm selling to the gun shop, I will need to file with the evil IRS so I thought that I'd use a cool one :) all of my frames will follow suit in naming.
I will always be a contributing member of this wonderful forum but now also as a vendor. Please wish me luck with this, your blessings mean a lot to me.
Just plain duke ;)
This is an example of my frame designs:

You make them very well! One tip I have on the above slingshot, the grooves are too far down the fork in my opinion. That being said that is a far better slingshot than anything I could muster.

EDIT: Nevermind I see you ARE selling them. Nice.

You are correct, the grooves are a but "goofy" on this one. I do tend to make the band grooves a bit farther down than necessary.
Thanks for the input, I'll need to watch that :)

I'm still getting my pricing in order and deciding which frames that I want to promote.
Bands will be the typical sizes and prices.
The display stands are going to be brass, right now mine are painted steel.
I'll post a complete listing in the near future, I'll be laid up from spine surgery in the next week or so, so it'll be a good time to organize the specifics.
Hmmmm...mabe there's a good graphic artist on the forum that wants to do some trading??
I need a logo for the tags and such.

Pat

Thank you, it's my new favorite frame!!! It's fun to make and a dream to shoot. If you like larger frames (I do) then this one rocks. :)
I hope others like my frames as much as I do. I build them for me 1st and then if someone likes it I sell it :) it's that personal to me, meaning that if no one bought from me it would be ok because I love making them shooting them and collecting them, heII, I could roll around in them and be happy ;)
