I did a little review on the "Ninja" model that DayHiker and Nathan collaborated on. I think this just might be the frames my kids at my martial arts studio would want for the "Martial arts principles and slingshots" workshop series that I'm planning. :)

@Dallasdeadeye: I don't know.... I don't see this particular model on Nathan's website, so I'm guessing Nathan made a few of DayHiker's design and had me try them out. I would guess that Nathan would be happy to make one if you asked him about it. :)

Howdy alfshooter!

SlingGal,

Thank you so much for taking the time and initiative to educate our youth about the mind/body aspect of slingshot shooting. Not only does the activity get kids moving, focusing, and off the couch, it helps to preserve the slingshot heritage passed down from generations past.

Anything I can do to help support the positive growth of our sport is absolutely a treat.

Thanks for the great review and keep us posted on how the kids do with the Ninja!

Nathan

Oh, and I forgot to mention that the Ninja design is free for all to use and copy freely courtesy of Dayhiker.

The Ninja is an excellent 10meter target shooter and ideal for close range plinking fun!!

I love the design, and very nice video too, SlingGal; did you have a look at my Little Forker design? It's great for little hands, and deceptively dangerous, for the adult users. There's no hammer grip to it, and you have to have a lanyard, just in case; but most little people like it.

With that presentation your making me want to buy some for my Kids and I don't even have any. Truly, the collaborators came up with an easy to use design and it looks friendly and some fun times ahead for your Kids. Great Presentation and Great Work from the guys that helped you out.

@Whipcrackdeadbunny: That is the smallest and cutest thing I've seen! Thanks for the instructions!

LOL, Darrell!

I tried having a few kids (with previous slingshot experience) try pickleforks, but I guess they like frames with a little more size. lol. That leaves the pickleforks for ME! heh heh.

Hey SlingGal,

Will you marry me???? O.K. ... I know ... I'm just a little too old .... and too ugly too ...

Great review of a great design. My only comment is that, like the PFS, this little character is incredibly versatile. You can band it light for kids, or you can band it heavy for hunting ... or anything in between. And it is suitable for most any kind of grip. If one has large hands and shoots hammer grip, you might want to make the handle more of an oval, perhaps even add a palm swell. But it is lovely just the way it sits ... kinda like the reviewer ...

Cheers ..... Charles

Charles, I think you would have a good chance if you get rid of the Bop and put on a Cowboy Hat. Yea!

Yes Charles agreed, The Reviewer has Great Talent and if the Martial Arts should happen to take a downward turn, SlingGal could make Presentations on QVC or one of those other TV selling shows. SlingGal is mesmerizing and has a magnetic personality and every thing she speaks favorably about I have an automatic response that causes me to open my wallet.

She seems to have charmed some of us here, at least.
