Here is a new design that is something like my "Lil Plinker" that dgui has been shooting with. It relies on the slim waist principle to make a good grip, an idea I learned from Bill Herriman's Classic.

It's bigger than the Lil Plinker, about the size of Henry from Panama's "Cholita", which I copied and like very much. But it's still a pocket shooter.

Great little shooter indeed. As my son put it, "it feels good in the hand". I made one of these
from Maple Hardwood and love shooting it.
its really nice i made one of these from plywood not the best wood to do it with but its really nice .
I find I'm quite accurate with this slingshot, I shoot semi gangster and have been using the top tip of the fork
as an aiming point on the target and wham!

thanks for sharing

i think this is going to be my next project. Thanks for posting

Anyone tried a solid maple plank. I have one about an inch thick?

Big thanks Dayhiker!

I made one myself and it is perfect =), also I made a post about it. Link: http://slingshotforu...-a-red-chalice/

This is without a doubt my favourite slingshot design. Simple is always best.Thank you

WOOF!

Thanks for the template on the Chalice.  Cut it out from a 3/4" bamboo cutting board.  Have not finished sanding... (ran out of material) yet it fit's my stubby mitt perfectly at 75% of the image.  I cannot believe at 73 years of age I'm back doing this... a 59 year span.  Anyway, thanks for your generosity.
