I've been thinking about making some kind of drop box to catch the incoming shots, preferrably reliable enough to use inside the house. Something with a lot of 45 angled boards and a slope at the bottom to send back the rounds. The whole thing shouldn't become bigger than 80cm wide by 60cm high and deep. Nothing decided yet.

The next experimental catapult was this old idea to make one out of a figure 8 carabiner. Only flattened off part of the biggest ring and put on similar bands to those of The Rake. I saved the bigger TBG work for another custom fork. That occasion came by at the hardware store, where I found this hand rake gardening tool made of solid aluminum. Without the actual handle and the middle tooth, the trident would become almost like a natural born slingshot. Longer forks for various widths of TBG and experimental pouches.

This is the first original catty that re-triggered the hobby. As a kid I used to have a natural slingshot with bicycle tire bands (whitch were quite non-elastic compared to the undisputed number one Thera Band Gold I currently use). Unfortunately I had to hand it over to my dad, who had an air rifle all for himself and told me not to have a slingshot.
